Vivendi acquires Expelled for DVD release

JUNE 25 | Vivendi Entertainment has acquired home entertainment distribution rights to the controversial independent documentary Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed.
The supplier will release the film on DVD on Oct. 21.
Directed by Nathan Frankowski, the film examines theory of intelligent design and the conflict it has created in the scientific community between its supporters and its detractors.
Expelled is hosted and co-written by actor/commentator Ben Stein, who was presented with the Entertainment Merchants Assn.'s Freedom of Expression Award on Tuesday at the Home Media Expo in Las Vegas.
Expelled grossed $7.5 million at the box office in wide theatrical release this spring.

Please take a look at www.expelledexposed.com for detailed discussion of the essentially non-stop lies and distortions in the anti-science movie "Expelled." Intelligent design creationism is a pseudo-science - not actual science by any stretch of credulity. It has no more scientific content than astrology or alchemy.
Yes, Ben Stein is correct about one thing: Some believers in intelligent design creationism have been expelled, just as a doctor who believes in the demonic-possession theory of disease would be expelled; just a geologist who believes in a 6,000-year-old earth and a 4,000-year-old Grand Canyon would be expelled; just as an astronomer who believes in geocentrism would be expelled. Yes, there is prejudice in actual science against pseudo-science.
