Warner and TCM celebrated the 70th anniversary of Gone With the Wind with actress Ann Rutherford in Marietta, Ga., on Nov. 13. Warner’s Gone With the Wind Ultimate Collector’s Edition streets Nov. 17.

The cast of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia celebrated the DVD and Blu-ray release of Christmas special A Very Sunny Christmas at the Guys and Dolls Lounge in Los Angeles. Fox’s release is available Nov. 17.

To celebrate MGM’s Rocky: The Undisputed Collection Blu-ray Disc, now available, actor Danny Bonaduce led a parade of 1,000 “Rockys” to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where “Rocky Steps” is located, on Nov. 8. Fox distributes MGM titles.

Retail and studio executives discussed the potential of Blu-ray Disc at Blu-Con 2.0, held in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Nov. 3. The conference featured filmmaker Martin Scorsese as the keynote speaker.

Sony and The Paley Center for Media hosted “Dawson’s Creek: A Look Back” on Nov. 4 in Beverly Hills, Calif., with creator Kevin Williamson and cast members. Sony will release the complete series DVD on Nov. 10.

Actors Martin Landau and Eva Marie Saint and director William Friedkin attended Warner’s screening of North By Northwest at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Nov. 2. Warner’s 50th anniversary DVD and Blu-ray Disc is now available.

Fox celebrated its 20th anniversary DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Say Anything with a mob of “Lloyd Doblers,” the film’s main character, serenading New Yorkers on Nov. 3, the street date of the release.

The cast of Ally McBeal reunited with the show’s creator and singer-songwriter on Oct. 23 to tape a two-day segment for Good Morning America, which will air on Nov. 2-3. The show debuted on DVD Oct. 6.
