Dec. 17 | The Consumer Electronics Assn. has entered into a new partnership to demonstrate how member companies’ products can enable homeowners to live more greenly.
Through Green Life Smart Life, a project designed to showcase the most recent advances in environmentally-sound building, CEA products will be featured to provide examples of eco-friendly custom electronics.
CEA will serve as the primary technology sponsor for the Green Life Smart Life project, a 4,350-foot home on the coast of
NuVo Technologies, a Kentucky-based supplier of multi-room audio systems, is the first CEA member company to be selected for inclusion in the Green Life Smart Life home. NuVo’s Essentia E6G, the first multi-room system to earn Energy Star certification, will be used in the project.
A CEA spokeswoman emphasized that Green Life Smart Life is still at its early stages, encouraging member companies to join the project while there are still opportunities to do so.
