Warner doubles production of collector's editions

JUNE 26 | LAS VEGAS—Warner Home Video is doubling its releases of collector’s editions since last year and mounted the “Warner Gallery” at the Palms hotel to show off the titles during the Home Media Expo here.

Titles getting the royal treatment in the fourth quarter range from cartoons to box-office blockbusters.
They include: The Man From U.N.C.L.E.—The Complete Series, due Oct. 21 (prebook Sept. 16) for $199.92; The Peanuts Holiday Collection; The Flintstones Set; Batman The Animated Series Complete Collection; JFK Ultimate Collector’s Edition; Casablanca Ultimate Collector’s Edition; I Am Legend Ultimate Collector’s Edition; 300 Limited Collector’s Edition and A Christmas Story Ultimate Collector’s Edition.
HBO Video, which Warner distributes, will have The Sopranos: The Complete Series on Nov. 11 (prebook Oct. 7) for $399.99, plus The Wire: The Complete Series; Get Smart: The Complete Series; Deadwood: The Complete Series; and Band of Brothers in Blu-ray.
