Fox extends Joy Ride with DVD premiere sequel

NOV. 20 | 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment is extending Joy Ride into a made-for-DVD sequel for release in fall 2008.
Joy Ride 2: End of the Road, which has wrapped principal photography, continues the story line of the 2001 original theatrical, in which a truck driver terrorized a group of road-trippers. In Joy Ride 2, the driver dubbed Rusty Nail returns and plays evil games with a new set of victims.
The sequel’s stars include What I Like About You’s Nick Zano and Supernatural’s Nicki Aycox. Directed by Louis Morneau, Joy Ride 2 also stars Kyle Schmid and Laura Jordan.© 2009, Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier Inc. All Rights Reserved.
