A super-duper box-office smash, Shrek 2 carefully followed the blueprint of its predecessor--and then threw in a healthy dollop of state-of-the-art technology. The idea is carried through on the DVD, which offers many of the same supplements on the first disc. Top among these are "The Tech of Shrek 2" featurette, which covers the ins and outs of creating a computer-generated movie, and "DWK: This Way to Play," a group of games and activities geared for younger viewers. Produced by Robert Digby, Hope Mann and Carissa Hendricks, the other bonuses include a 10-minute "Meet the Cast" piece and a few additional shorter extras on the new Puss-in-Boots character and the music. --Cyril Pearl
