The Education of Jesse Eisenberg, Pt. II

June 12, 2009

Here’s the second half of my recent interview with Jesse Eisenberg, star of Anchor Bay’s upcoming The Education of Charlie Banks (Street June 23) and Disney’s Adventureland (Street: Aug. 25).

VB: You’re a native New Yorker and you currently live in Manhattan. Do you have frequent encounters with fans?

VB: What are you studying?

JE: I’m going for a liberal arts degree.
VB: Was going to school at this point—you’re 25 years old—always part of your plan?
JE: It kinds of get frustrating waiting around to do movies, so you have to really find something else. I also wanted to graduate college. My father is a college professor…

VB: So it wouldn’t have gone down too well if you passed on it.

JE: No...
