Saturday Night Live is now available for early Sunday Morning Streaming.
NBC is making episodes of its longtime sketch-comedy standard bearer available on the Internet right after they air on the network, as the General Electric unit looks to boost viewership.
NBC.com has put this season's first episode on its site and will continue to do the same all season, NBC Universal said in a statement late last week.
SNL joins a list of more than a dozen shows NBC is putting on its Web site as it tries to broaden its audience going into the television season.
NBC said in August that it would make last season's episodes from shows such as 30 Rock and The Office available on its Web site for the weeks leading up to their season premiers.
NBC trailed CBS, Fox and ABC in overall ratings for the most recent season, which ended in May. In July, NBCU's Jeff Gaspin took over all of the division's television properties after Ben Silverman ended his tumultuous run as co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Movie Studios to join Barry Diller's IAC/InterActiveCorp.
