Young Indiana Jones DVD
August 27, 2007
After much preparing,
The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones is coming to disc on Oct. 23.
And when I say much preparing, I mean it. Rick Callum was talking about their release in an interview with us back in 2002.
USA Today reported that the TV show will bow in a 12-disc set priced at less than $100. Vol. 1 will include seven episodes and 38 documentaries about various historical figures featured on the show.
The paper says another two volumes will be delivered Dec. 18 and in the spring.
Paramount is the usual distributor for all things Indy, but USA Today says the DVD set is coming from Lucasfilm. I'll get to the bottom of it and let you know.
UPDATE: So we got confirmation. The prebook date is Sept. 11, and the set will carry a list price of $117.99. And yes, it will be distributed by Paramount.
