Clatterford: Season 1

So, those absolutely fabulous ladies Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley and Dawn French (of the British show Absolutely Fabulous, in case you missed the reference) have reunited for a new show: Clatterford. And its American launch is all set up:

BBC America on March 9, then DVD release in a two-disc set ($29.98) on May 8 (prebook April 3).

In this outing, Lumley is an eccentric old lady who ride a tricycle and Saunders is a busy lady of the country who spends evenings with Madonna. Should be good for many many laughs.

The show was apparently called Jam & Jerusalem with it aired in the U.K. So take from that what you will. The BBC's Newsnight has a review.

The DVD also offers a Christmas special.

Oh, and BBC will be distributing the DVD through Warner.
