Drillbit Taylor DVD, Blu-ray
May 20, 2008
Following Owen Wilson’s much publicized personal problems, it’s nice to see him in a comedic setting once again. This time it’s in Drillbit Taylor, a film produced by Judd Aptow (Superbad) and written by Seth Rogan (Knocked Up) and Kristofor Brown (Undeclared). Those three names alone should arouse interest among young males.
Paramount Home Entertainment will release Drillbit Taylor, a comedy about a bodyguard (Wilson) protecting three kids from a bully, on DVD and Blu-ray July 1 (prebook May 20) . The standard-definition release will be available in an “Extended Survival Edition” and a theatrical version, both priced $29.99 each. The Blu-ray title will cost $39.99.
Extras include commentary, deleted and extended scenes, gag reel and featurettes, with Blu-ray having additional featurettes, all of which are presented in high-definition.
