Beethoven's Big Break DVD

Universal is adding another DVD premiere to the Beethoven franchise, the one with the big, slobbery, lovable St. Bernard. Beethoven's Big Break debuts Dec. 30, in time for consumers looking to spend gift cards handed out over Chrsitmas and parents looking for something to entertain their bored kids.
Judging by the reaction to the trailer by twin 9-year-old boys (my neighbors; we saw the trailer before we watched The Incredible Hulk Saturday night), Beethoven's Big Break should do fine. The boys were cracking up and hooting at the St. Bernard wrecking havoc.
Jonathan Silverman, Rhea Perlman, The Office's Oscar Nunez, 'N Sync's Joey Fatone, comedian Eddie Griffin and the Dog Whisperer himself, Cesar Millan, star.
Prebook is Nov. 11, and the DVD will be priced at $29.98.
Extras include a gag reel, deleted scenes, commentary and three featurettes: "Moises Steals the Show," "Hail Cesar!" and "On the Set of Beethoven."
