Crank 2: High Voltage DVD, Blu-ray

July 1, 2009

Jason Statham is running out of time again.

In Lionsgate's Crank 2: High Voltage, Statham returns as Chev Chelios, who wakes up to find his heart has been replaced with a battery-operated ticker that needs regular jolts of electricity to keep going. Meanwhile, Chelios is on the run from Mexican gang boss El Huron (Clifton Collins Jr.) and the Chinese Triads (with the leader played by the late David Carradine). Amy Smart and Dwight Yoakam also return for this sequel.

After grossing $13.6 million in theaters, Crank 2 will arrive on DVD and Blu-ray Sept. 8 (prebook Aug. 12).

It will be released in three versions: single-DVD priced at $29.95, two-DVD special edition at $34.98 and two-disc Blu-ray at $39.99. Both the two-DVD and Blu-ray versions include digital copy.

The two-DVD also will contain:
