Employee of the Month

Lionsgate is continuing to support its Blu-ray investment, releasing Employee of the Month on DVD ($28.98) and Blu-ray ($39.99) on Jan. 16 (prebook Dec. 20).

You might think that Jessica Simpson and Dane Cook would be big draws for the $28.2 million-grossing comedy, but other than Cook's commentary with Greg Coolidge, Simpson and Cook aren't called out as featured in the extras. Coolidge gets his own solo commentary (come on, Dane, you can handle stand-up but not a two-hour commentary track by yourself?) and Andy Dick gets his own featurette, "At Work With Lion." Even Eva Longoria and John O'Hurley are billed for the "Alternate Super Club opening" extra. Maybe Jessica in the "Ad-libs" featurette, listed as having "the cast."

Those are all the supplements on the DVD. But Blu-ray adds bloopers and three featurettes: "On Set Shenanigans," "Men of Super Club" and "The Beauty of Bulk." Maybe Jessica's in these.
