Twister HD DVD, Blu-ray

Before Warner drops HD DVD support in favor of Blu-ray, the studio will release the 1996 natural disaster flick Twister on both formats. The film made $241.8 million in theaters back then and is a staple on DVD.
The Blu-ray versions will street May 6, with HD DVD arriving May 27, just before Warner will stop releasing titles on HD DVD.
Prebook is April 1 for Blu-ray and April 22 for HD DVD, and each high-def version will be priced at $28.99.
A two-disc special edition on standard DVD also will be released priced at $20.97.
And Warner says the discs have nearly an hour of "previously unreleased commentary" as well as various featurettes.
