Family Ties, Hawaii Five-O

I'm back! Vacation is over and, of course, I'm already busy as ever.

A few interesting TV announcements came through email today from Paramount. The debut seasons of Family Ties and Hawaii Five-O!

Ok, I'll admit it, I had the biggest crush on Michael J. Fox when I was a kid. I had a life-sized Back to the Future poster pasted to the back of my bedroom door and I was in heaven.

Family Ties: The First Season bows in a four-disc set on Feb. 20 (prebook Jan. 9) priced at $42.99. It's also the 25th anniversary of the show, but sadly there don't seem to be any special features on the disc, unless they're just not included in the press materials.

Hawaii Five-O: The First Season arrives March 6 (prebook Jan. 23) priced at $54.99. The press materials for this five-disc set tell us that all 24 episodes including the pilot are included, along with a 45-minute retrospective co-hosted by James MacArthur (Danno to the show's fans). Get surfing.
