Team Baby deal
April 16, 2007
Have you seen those DVDs that make baseball fans out of kids? We've written about Team Baby quite a bit, the latest news being that the company was bought by Michael Eisner -- yep, the former Disney head honcho. Here's the news article.
Anyway, we've got some more news from the intrepid kids line, this from our correspondent Cindy Spielvogel:
Team Baby Entertainment has struck a deal for a sampler of its April 17 release
New York Yankees Baby: Raising the Next Generation of Yankees Fans to be given away at Yankee Stadium May 27 for "Baby Yankee" day. The first 18,000 adults will be given a DVD sampler as they enter the stadium. The deal also calls for TBE to present a check on the field representing a donation to Yankees charities. The DVD is voiced by Yankees owner George Steinbrenner.
