Jennifer’s Body grossed a modest $16.1 million in theaters despite the star power of sexy lead

Transformers), who is prominently featured on the box art.
Fox will release the comedy thriller, which follows high school cheerleader Jennifer (Fox) who is possessed by a demon and goes on a killing spree, on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on Dec. 29 (prebook Dec. 2). Amanda Seyfried (Mamma Mia!) co-stars as Jennifer’s best friend who tries to stop the bloodshed.
The standard theatrical DVD ($29.98) will include commentary with director Karyn Kusama and Cody, while the extended version will have commentary with Kusama only. The two-disc Blu-ray also will have deleted scenes, a gag reel, featurettes, video diaries, a PSA about peer pressure and digital copy.
For those suffering from holiday overkill, the film’s gore just might be the perfect anecdote.
