Favorite stars, older titles

Lionsgate is dragging out some old performances of favorite stars. On Dec. 12 (prebook Nov. 15), the studio will deliver Someone Behind the Door (1971) starring Anthony Perkins and Charles Bronson, along with Soldier Blue (1970), with Candice Bergen and Peter Strausse, now better known for Boston Legal and XXX: State of the Union, respectively (and sadly for Strausse. Sorry, but true.).

And on Jan. 23, the big guns come out with Kounterfeit (1996), starring Hilary Swank and Corbin Bernsen (who's getting a nice revival on the funny USA series Psych), and Jackknife with Robert De Niro, Kathy Baker and Ed Harris. Need we say more?

The big guns DVDs will be priced at $9.98 with the others at $14.98. Look for them in a budget bin near you soon.
