The Longshots DVD, Blu-ray

Dec. 2 is shaping up to be a busy release day. As well as Prince Caspian, Step Brothers and X-Files: I Want to Believe add The Weinstein Co.'s The Longshots. (Check out the full list of upcoming new releases)
Starring Ice Cube and Keke Palmer, The Longshots, which grossed $10.7 million in theaters, tells the story of Jasmine Plummer, who became the first female quarterback in local team Pop Warner's 56-year history.
Extras include commentary from director Fred Durst, 20 deleted scenes, a making-of featurette and three other featurettes: "A Conversation With Director Fred Durst," "A Conversation With Ice Cube" and "Jasmine Plummer: The Real Longshot."
Distributed by Genius Products, The Longshots will be priced at $28.95 on DVD and $34.99 on Blu-ray. Prebook is Oct. 21.
