Terrence Howard's star has been rising, with high-profile roles in Crash and Hustle & Flow, to name a few.

His latest, Idlewild, will be delivered from Universal on Dec. 5 (order now). The movie was shown in only 973 screens, but it grossed a respectible $12.5 million. And with the name cast, it stands to get noticed on the video shelf: Howard is accompanied by Ving Rhames, Patti LaBelle, Macy Gray, Cicely Tyson, Ben Vereen...

Idlewild is about greed, fame and murder -- all popular popcorn-munching entertainment -- and tells a "genre-bending hip hop story," according to the press materials. Get more at IMDB.

No special features are mentioned. Maybe Uni is saving them for a special edition.
