Norbit
April 19, 2007

The movie starring Eddie Murphy as an huge woman, did pretty huge at the box office: $95 million. Not too shabby.

Paramount's releasing Norbit on June 5 (prebook April 24) on DVD ($29.99), HD DVD and Blu-ray ($39.99 each). You might remember me saying the high-def versions of Murphy's Trading Places and Coming to America are coming out the same day. And $3 certificates will be inside all three titles, good toward the purchase of select Murphy titles, including 48 Hours, Raw, Beverly Hills Cop Special Collector's Edition, DreamGirls and Shrek.

Special features on Norbit include a making-of; featurettes "Man of 1,000 Faces," "Power Tap" and "The Stunts of Norbit;" 14 deleted scenes and a photo gallery. What, no Murphy outtakes? Maybe that's coming in the special edition.
