Gossip Girl: Season One DVD

I haven't seen this show, but it seems to have quite a following. (It must be good if New York magazine calls it "the most awesomely awesome show ever.")
So, Gossip Girl's many fans will be pleased to hear that Warner will deliver the Complete First Season set to DVD on Aug. 19 (prebook July 15).
List price will be $59.98, and for that dough, consumers will get all 18 episodes, unaired scenes, three featurettes, music videos, a gag reel and -- and this is interesting -- a free download of the original best-selling book read by Christina Ricci. (She's not in the show, but she's currently revving up the box office in Speed Racer -- or not revving up, in this case.)
