Ultimate Matrix Collection Blu-ray

Well, The Matrix didn't save HD DVD, but it was only a matter of time before the sci-fi hits would be released on Blu-ray: Oct. 14, to be exact.
Warner is making the Blu-ray release similar to its HD DVD release, putting The Ultimate Matrix Collection on Blu-ray but not the individual movies. The three-movie, seven-disc set will be priced at $129.95 (prebook Sept. 9).
As well as The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, the Ultimate Collection includes the In-Movie Experience for each movies, The Animatrix, 35 hours of extras and -- something that wasn't on the HD DVD version -- a downloadable copy of the original The Matrix.
