Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns DVD, Blu-ray

Tyler Perry's latest theatrical hit, Meet the Browns, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on July 1 (prebook June 4), the same day as the director/writer/actor's TV show, Tyler Perry's House of Payne: Volume Two.
The comedy stars Angela Bassett as a single mother who takes her daughter to the funeral of her father, whom she never met, and sees for the first time the other side of her family. It grossed $41 million at tha box office.
Lionsgate is releasing the movie as a two-disc set priced at $34.98 and a single-disc for $29.95. Blu-ray is priced at $39.99.
The two-disc set and Blu-ray versions offer four featurettes--"Meet the Manns," "Angela and Rick: Meet the Lovebirds," "The Browns are Born: The Story of Meet the Browns" and "Jennifer Lewis: Unleashed"--and a downloadable digital copy.
Blu-ray adds three more featurettes: "Mr. Brown's Fashion Breakdown," "The Music of Meet the Browns" and "Bakin' It and Shakin' It With Mr. Brown."
The three-disc House of Payne will be priced at $29.98 and will include bloopers and two featurettes: "Pops" and "Firehouse Follies."
Lionsgate loves its featuretttes.
