Has Garfield given up on lasagna? A promotion for
Fox's DVD premiere animated movie
Garfield Gets Real partners the ginger cat with
KFC.
It's a high profile promotion for a DVD premiere movie, which hit stores yesterday. As part of the DVD's campaign, 5,000 KFC locations nationwide will give kids exclusive Garfield Gets Real meal boxes featuring Garfield and Odie.
Signage also will decorate the KFC restaurants, and Garfield has infiltrated KFC's kids Web page.
The promotion also offers $3 back by mail when consumers buy Garfield Gets Real or one of two Garfield and Friends DVDs.
