Dallas: The Complete Sixth Season

For all those who remember when J.R. was voted out as president of Ewing Oil and Bobby and Pam split up and J.R. and Sue Ellen remarry, Warner is bringing out Dallas: The Complete Sixth Season on Jan. 30 (prebook Dec. 26) priced at $39.98. I was a kid when Dallas was the hottest thing in water-cooler gossip, but I remember all the adults talking about it. What season did J.R. get shot? And then when Bobby came back, basically and made that entire year a dream -- even a 12-or-so-year-old could tell that was lame.
Anyway, Warner has included what looks like a very fitting special feature on the new
Dallas five-disc set: the featurette "Power and Influence: The
Dallas Legacy, Exploring the Show's Pop-Culture Influence Then and Now."
