The Invincible Iron Man
November 6, 2006
Comic book movies always do well on DVD, so the third installment in Lionsgate and Marvel’s animated DVD premiere line, The Invincible Iron Man, is sure to be strong as, well, iron. According to the press materials, the first two movies in the line, both about the Ultimate Avengers, have sold more than 1.5 million units combined since their debuts. Iron Man bows Jan. 23 (prebook Dec. 20) priced at $19.98 and tells the story of the origins of the superhero. Special features on the disc include an alternate opening sequence and three featurettes, including one about the upcoming Marvel animated feature Dr. Strange. Look for that one to be a hit on disc too.
