Sublime mailing
March 12, 2007
Warner went all out for the second DVD premiere in its Raw Feed horror line.
Sublime will be released tomorrow, March 13. (Read our
news story about the title, and here's
DVD info -- nice box art.)
The studio popped in the mail a cardboard insane asylum that opens up to show bloody images, presumably from the movie. (See top pic of the outside of the box. That's double doors with carboard CAUTION tape.)
Inside the box, the studio packed an entire gruesome scene -- and more potential Halloween outfits. The pic is to the right, but here's a quick inventory:
1 bloody hospital gown that says "Mt. Abaddon Hospital, Sublime on DVD 3/13/07"
1 newspaper cutting of The Los Angeles Times dated Saturday July 3 2007 with the headline "East Ward Health Scare, Mt. Abaddon hides dark secrets in off limits East Ward." Oooohhhh
1 Mt. Abaddon Hospital file for Grieves, George. Apparently good old George has sweaty palms and back, is delusional and has Toxic Shock Syndrome and Necrotic Fasciitis. (Wha???) And worst of all, he's not insured!
2 bloody photos, shots from the movie
And, best of all, 1 bloody prescription pad from Mt. Abaddon Hospital and 1 syringe pen, filled with red liquid (see close up pic third down).
Nice touch.
