Ghost Special Edition
February 22, 2007
Just got Paramount's Ghost Special Edition in the mail. Don't know why I didn't hear about it earlier, but I'm glad to have it now. Gotta admit, I love this movie. Always great for a good cry (it's therapeutic).
Anyway, Paramount's delivering the new disc on March 13 (order now, I assume) priced at $14.99.
And the bonuses include commentary by director Jerry Zucker and writer Bruce Joel Rubin, a making-of featurette, and three more featurettes: "Inside the Paranormal" (sounds promising), "Alchemy of a Love Scene" (snore) and "Cinema's Great Romances" (double snore, but might be good for a bit of nostalgia).
Ghost has only been on DVD once, released six years ago -- unlike another Patrick Swayze hit that seems to have a new edition every year (
read story) -- so this new version should rekindle the love of many fans.
