Bobby, Arthur and the Invisibles
February 19, 2007

Weinstein will deliver the critically acclaimed political drama Bobby on April 10 (prebook Feb. 20) priced at $28.95, and kudos to the studio for the disc's extras ... well, one of them anyway. As well as a making-of featurette, Bobby will carry a featurette called "Eye-witness Accounts From the Ambassador Hotel." I always applaud supplementals that extend the movie -- and this is a particularly fascinating subject matter even if it has been documented a lot.

Weinstein also is bowing Arthur and the Invisibles on April 10 (prebook March 20, but same price). The movie grossed only $13 million in wide release, but it's a family movie with a stellar cast -- Robert De Niro, David Bowie, Mia Farrow and the fabulous young Freddie Highmore who enchanted us all in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Finding Neverland (especially Finding Neverland) -- so Arthur should be anything but invisible on DVD.

Extras are the usual: three making-of featurettes and a music video by Jewel.
