PlayStation Store adds Lucasfilm content, others
DIGITAL: Star Wars: Clone Wars, Leverage among new shows on video-download site

NOV. 2 | DIGITAL: PlayStation Network has added new content partners Lucasfilm Ltd., Image Entertainment, Cinetic FilmBuff, ContentFilm International, MPI Media Group and New Video to its downloadable TV/movie service.
These new additions to the PlayStation Store, exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable consoles, are available today.
Already committed material includes Lucasfilm TV show Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Cinetic TV series Leverage and Image feature films Powder Blue and Management. Also, ContentFilm will deliver titles Hurlyburly and Interstate 60; MPI, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre; and New Video, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.
PlayStation Store currently offers more than 2,300 movies and 14,400 TV episodes. PlayStation Network touts its service as holding the most downloadable TV/film content through a game console, with 40 studio and TV network provider partners.
The company reports that PlayStation Store downloads hiked 100% in September, compared to the same month the prior year.
The entire PlayStation Network, which also includes the virtual world service, has more than 29 million registered users.
