Paramount loads Transformers with sequel specials
PHYSICAL: DVD, Blu-ray to offer sneak peek at Revenge of the Fallen, other new extras

JUNE 11 | PHYSICAL: Paramount Home Entertainment is offering a sneak peek of June 24 theatrical release Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen to consumers who buy its predecessor on DVD or Blu-ray Disc.
Starting June 16, people who buy Transformers in either format can watch sequel footage online through access codes inside the DVD package or via Web-enabled BD Live players with the Blu-ray version.
As well as the sequel's preview, people will be treated to 25 minutes of new bonus materials for the original film, such as a look at star Megan Fox’s Transformers audition tape. Other features added to the Transformers DVD/Blu-ray include never before released deleted scenes, an exclusive look at the first day of filming Revenge of the Fallen, special effects tests, a weapons guide and an exploration into the film’s stunts.
It’s unclear if current owners of Transformers on Blu-ray will likewise be able to receive the fresh content starting June 16. Released last year, the Transformers featured BD Live interactivity and could conceivably be updated to offer new material. Paramount did not immediately respond to comment.
