> Stylish British suspenser with sex, drugs and violence.
A group of young women vacationing in Spain accept an invitation to join a bunch of men on a swanky yacht. While at sea, drugs taken by both factions prompt a wild sexual roundelay that is eventually halted when one of the men bludgeons and kills his lovemaking partner with a “donkey punch”—a smash to the head during climax. Noted for its full-frontal nudity (in the unrated version) and explicit orgy sequence, Donkey Punch has drawn attention (and derision), which should continue with the DVD.
Shelf Talk: Internet buzz and a short theatrical release are enough to make this a want-to-see title with college-age crowds. The film works as both an arthouse entry, a sexploitation effort and a horror movie.
