Urban sprawl doc on DVD in time for Earth Day

By Wendy Wilson -- Video Business, 3/10/2009

March 10 | Sprawling From Grace, a documentary about the environmental impact of urban sprawl, will arrive in stores in time for Earth Day (street April 21; prebook March 10).
Featuring interviews with former President Bill Clinton, former Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis as well as scientists and writers, Sprawling From Grace assesses the impact of America’s car culture with city planning over the last 50 years. As gas prices rise and the supply of cheap oil continues to wane, the film looks forward to how Americans will need to begin designing their communities in the future when the cost of commuting is no longer a bill the country can afford to pay.
Bonus features include a DVD-ROM photo gallery, trailers and additional links.
Released by Cinema Libre Studio, Sprawling From Grace carries a suggested retail price of $19.95.
