FEB. 20 | GREEN REPORT: Some of the best films about the natural wonders of the ocean are shown in tourist venues like theme parks and museums, shot on high-definition and made to be viewed in expansive spaces. But these programs also are available in high-quality versions for the small screen, on Blu-ray Disc as well as DVD.

Ocean Odyssey has been released on Blu-ray and DVD from Feodor Pitcairn Productions. A pioneer in underwater high-definition production, Pitcairn is an ocean conservationist who was commissioned by the Smithsonian to create a unique high-definition film that would be projected to eight screens wrapping around the Sant Ocean Hall, a new exhibit that opened in September in Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.
