Green building DVD from Gaiam comes to retail March 3

Feb. 13 | Gaiam will release Building With Awareness: The Construction of the Hybrid Home, a resource for home owners looking for ways to green their own, on March 3 (order now).Packaged with a reference guide including photos, diagrams and a description of the materials used to construct a hybrid home, Building With Awareness provides viewers with a blueprint for how to build a more environmentally friendly home. The program also identifies the money-saving advantages to improving a home's energy efficiency while explaining how greening a home can add to its value.
Designer and filmmaker Ted Owens, a consultant on green building projects from homes to government facilities, hosts the program. Owens also authored the guidebook that accompanies the Building With Awareness DVD.
The Building With Awareness: The Construction of the Hybrid Home DVD will arrive at retail in eco-friendly packaging. Suggested retail price is $19.98.
