Barack Obama: The Man and His Journey will be the first release under a new partnership between Codeblack Entertainment and Ebony/Jet Entertainment Group.

The documentary on the President-elect explores the historic political season and arrives on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, distributed by Vivendi Entertainment (prebook Jan. 6, DVD $19.99).

The next title under the licensing agreement will be Why We Laugh, an introspective on black comedy, followed by up to six more titles by the end of next year to be distributed through broadcast and video-on-demand, the Internet, mobile and other platforms in addition to DVD.
