INDIE FILM GUIDE: Film to be transferred in 8K Ultradigital HD

AUG. 25 | INDIE FILM GUIDE: On Oct. 28 (prebook Sept. 22), MPI is releasing the film Baraka on Blu-ray ($34.98) and as a two-disc special edition ($29.98). The film is the first to be transferred in 8K Ultradigital HD in order to create the highest-quality Blu-ray, according to the company.
Baraka was shot in 70mm in 24 countries around the world to explore the sights and sounds of the human condition. The film was produced by Mark Magidson and directed and photographed by Ron Fricke, the cinematographer of Koyaanisqatsi.
The film also features eco-friendly packaging.
