Disney divides videogame unit
FROM VARIETY: Hopper, Yanover, Merrifield to run operations

JULY 11 | FROM VARIETY: Disney has unveiled the structure of its new Interactive Media Group, formed last month by merging its videogame and Internet operations.In a memo to employees Thursday posted on PaidContent.org, DIMG topper Steve Wadsworth said the unit will be divided into two lines of business. The first, Disney Interactive Studios, will handle all videogames and continue to be led by Graham Hopper. In addition to publishing console games, it will also take over mobile and online casual games previously handled by the Internet group.
