JUNE 16 | INDIE FILM GUIDE: In response to the earthquake in China, children’s education non-profit Globio and DVD International are teaming to donate 50% of sales of their documentary Ultimate Pandas to the Wolong Nature Reserve, which was left devastated by the disaster.

Wolong, the world’s most important center for panda conservation and breeding, was the site where the documentary was filmed.

Ultimate Pandas was shot on location over a four-year period by Gerry Ellis, photojournalist and founder of Globio, which engages children in cross-cultural communication and understanding. Available now, the DVD comes bundled with a plush panda for $29.95 (ultimatepandas.com).
