EMA to honor Happy Days duo at Expo

Don Most, Anson Williams get Legendary award

By Cheryl Cheng -- Video Business, 4/14/2008

APRIL 14 | It’s happy days at the 2008 Home Media Expo. The Entertainment Merchants Assn. will honor Happy Days actors Don Most and Anson Williams with the Legendary Television Duo Award at the Home Entertainment Awards ceremony, which will take place June 24 as part of the Expo.

Most and Williams starred in the ’70s series as Ralph and Potsie, respectively.

“The careers of Don Most and Anson Williams are the definition of success in this industry,” EMA president Bo Andersen said. “Having more than four decades of experience, Most and Williams expertly manage any role in front or behind the camera. The Entertainment Merchants Assn. is pleased to reward this legendary TV duo for the memories they’ve given the Happy Days audience as Ralph and Potsie and their continued success in the entertainment industry.”

EMA also will honor actor Ed Begley Jr. with the Humanitarian Award.

The Home Media Expo will be held June 24-26 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
