Nexpak offers reduced packaging for multi-disc sets

By Wendy Wilson -- Video Business, 1/23/2008

Jan. 23 | Nexpak has extended its StackPak product line, offering two new disc case sizes designed to cut down on the amount of materials used to package multiple DVD and CD sets.
The StackPak system requires no disc trays, reducing packaging materials up to 60%. The two new StackPak cases are in a 21mm size that is three-quarters of an inch and a 15mm size with the same dimensions as Nexpak's standard Amaray DVD case. The 21mm case can hold anywhere from one to six discs; the 15mm case, up to four discs.
Nexpak's StackPak cases are made of fully recyclable polypropylene resin.
Last year, Nexpak became one of the first companies to meet the Content Delivery and Storage Assn.'s new standard that works to minimize the use of harmful substances used in manufacturing media cases.
