ADV, Geneon halt planned distribution deal

SEPT. 21 | ADV Films said it was unable to finalize its previously announced agreement to become the exclusive North American distributor for fellow anime specialist Geneon Entertainment.

A spokesman for ADV said his company admired Geneon’s product line, but the two companies couldn’t come to terms on the deal.

The alliance would have taken effect on Oct.1.
