JULY 13 | Amazon.com subsidiary CustomFlix has added venerable news program 60 Minutes and other CBS News programs to its growing on-demand DVD library.
In addition to 60 Minutes, old and new CBS Evening News shows and CBS documentaries created over the last 10 years are now available through the CustomFlix Create Your Own DVD store.
Customers can pick and choose news segments and interviews to include on their DVD to make their own customized disc or choose to order complete programs.
Users can create DVDs that contain up to 10 news segments or 90 minutes of video packaged in Amaray-style cases with full-color artwork.
DVDs were selling for as low as $12.56 on the site Thursday, though the list price was $17.95.
Amazon is selling the discs through a specialized store at www.amazon.com/60minutes.
