Digital Edition FAQs
Video Business Digital Edition FAQs

Video Business is using new technology to convert its print edition into a digital format.  The digital edition is an interactive format that will be delivered via the internet and can be read on your desktop or laptop computer.  There is no software installation required and the download time is just seconds.  Best of all, the digital edition preserves the look and contents of the print edition.

The digital edition of Video Business will offer subscribers a chance to view full page ads, just as they appear in the magazine, with the added benefit of getting information regarding the company or product instantly via an active link.  The digital edition also offers subscribers ANYWHERE access to their issues of Video Business.

All digital issues are fully archiveable, include search capabilities and allow readers to share articles with coworkers, without losing their own copy.

Benefits of electronic delivery include:

  • Faster delivery service
  • Move from the table of contents to the article you want with just one click
  • Quick link to advertiser sites
  • Download a PDF to your computer for offline reading or easy archiving
  • No software installation

How will I receive my digital issue each month?

Once you choose to receive your magazine in digital format, you will receive e-mail notification concerning each new issue the moment it becomes available. You can instantly access your copy by clicking the link. If you choose, you can save your issues for offline reading by clicking on the FILE tab on the toolbar and selecting the "Download PDF" option.  You can then read the digital edition at your leisure -- just as you would with a traditional printed magazine.

What is the minimum operating system to view the digital edition?

Any computer that is capable of “surfing” the web can generally access the digital edition. Subscribers must have Internet Explorer 4 or greater, Netscape 4 or greater or AOL 6 or greater to access the digital edition.

We strongly recommend using a broadband connection for the best connectivity and enjoyment of your subscription.  Dial-up connection through a modem is a much slower connection speed and is not optimal for viewing the digital edition.

Can I save my issues for off-line reading?

Yes.  Subscribers can save their issues by clicking on the FILE tab on the toolbar and selecting the "Download PDF" option.

Can I print just one page?

Yes. Subscribers can print a single page or a range of pages by clicking on the PRINT icon on the toolbar.

Can I e-mail interesting articles to a colleague?

Yes. Subscribers can e-mail an article by clicking on the EMAIL icon on the toolbar.

If I convert my subscription to electronic delivery, can I ever change back to print?

Absolutely! If you try our digital edition and later decide you'd rather switch back to the print edition you can easily change your edition preferences. Print subscription delivery outside of the USA does require a paid subscription.

Do I have to be connected to the internet to read my issues?

No. The digital version allows offline viewing via a PDF download.  Subscribers only need to be online when they download the issue or to click a link for more information.

Who do I contact if I have a problem?

If you have any problems or questions regarding our digital editions, please contact our customer service department.
