Image, Eagle Rock go to PSP
UPDATE: Concert discs added to wave of movies

MAY 16 | Indie distributors Image Entertainment and Eagle Rock Entertainment are joining the PSP bandwagon.Image is committing films, TV shows, music and comedy programming to Sony's PlayStation Portable handheld videogame console.
The Paris Hilton-starring DVD premiere The Hillz, Jamie Foxx stand-up special I Might Need Security and concert disc Godsmack Live are among those titles streeting from Image on June 28. Prices have not yet been determined for Image's PSP-compatible Universal Media Discs.
Short Circuit, Magic of Flight, Tupac Shakur: Thug Angel and Endless Summer also are slotted for that date.
Image aims to release fresh PSP titles monthly and hopes to launch them internationally in the future.
Fast-growing visual music distributor Eagle Rock is planning to release a minimum of a dozen music titles for PSP this year, as well as offering one-minute song clips from Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, The Cure, Busta Rhymes and Dio in MPEG-4 format for download to the PSP from the Eagle Rock Web site.
Among the PSP titles will be Marilyn Manson: Guns, God and Government and "Classic Album" titles Jimi Hendrix: Electric Ladyland, Iron Maiden: Number of the Beast, Metallica: Metallica, Nirvana: Nevermind and Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon.
Meanwhile, Geneon Entertainment is introducing anime titles for PSP, starting with Appleseed and Samurai Champloo on July 5.
